Crowns and bridges are frequently used to restore damaged or missing teeth. Here at FamilyONE Dental, we can provide you with the most beautiful looking crowns and bridges made from advanced ceramic materials. By using these materials, we can achieve highly aesthetic and very natural results so your new restorations will blend in seamlessly with your existing natural teeth.

What Is a Crown?

A crown is used to completely cover up a tooth that may have been damaged due to trauma or decay and where a filling wouldn’t be sufficient to restore its strength and structure. Once the crown is fitted, your original tooth will not be visible and is completely sealed, preventing further infection and decay. Your new crown will look just like a real tooth or may even look better than the original. Quite often we can provide CEREC crowns that are made on-site while you wait, using the most advanced CADCAM technology to provide strong, precision-fitting ceramic restorations.

What Is a Bridge?

A bridge can be used to replace one or more missing teeth that are adjacent to each other. It is supported by crowns fitted onto the teeth on either side of the gap and which are attached to the replacement teeth which are called pontics.
Once your crown or bridge is in place, you will be able to bite and chew comfortably and your smile will be fully restored.
